This week the representatives of the Committee for Culture, Tourism and Archiving of Novgorod Region and Committee for Culture and Youth Policy of Velikiy Novgorod were on visit in Moscow. The visitors accepted the proposal to attend the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy in Sokolniki as part of their business trip. The Project Monitor of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy Elena Isaeva held the museum excursion and demonstrated some of the unique exhibits which would be displayed on September 10—12, 2009 in Velikiy Novgorod. The guests were impressed by the world calligraphy masterpieces and viewed the entire museum exposition regardless of busy schedule. In common opinion, the III International Exhibition of Calligraphy will become the outstanding culture event of the year for the Novgorod citizens. In December 2009 the same idea was expressed by Novgorod Region Governor Sergey Mitin.
